I have never had these small cabbage creatures before because my mom hates them and never made them for me. My children are little hoovers and will eat anything so I picked up a bag of frozen little balls to feed to them. I made them with lunch and they chowed down. I also tried a few and was pleasantly surprised. I think they would be fabulous sauteed in some bacon fat.
I am surprised my mom has such hatred for these things considering she loves cooked cabbage and asparagus. Is it just me or do they kind of taste like asparagus?
